HEALTH AND SAFETY
We are fully committed to complying with all relevant Safety, Health, and Welfare legislation. Our primary objective is to prioritise the safety, health, and welfare of our employees while foreseeing and mitigating any risky behaviour. We provide essential information, training, and supervision to achieve this goal. Additionally, we strive to protect all individuals affected by our activities. We ensure that everyone, including subcontractors and self-employed individuals, work together to maintain a safe workplace. Continual improvement in health, safety, and welfare practices is our ongoing commitment, in line with evolving legislation and best practices.

STOPPING MODERN SLAVERY
Human rights are a priority across our workforce, and we firmly reject any form of exploitation or coercive practices, which is why we are committed to combating modern slavery and unethical labour practices in construction and our supply chains. We conduct our business with honesty, integrity, and respect for all individuals. To prevent slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains, we prioritise working with verified service suppliers who meet recognised anti-slavery standards, particularly through our active membership with Constructionline. Before engaging with any suppliers, we assess their policies and standards through a detailed questionnaire. We intentionally limit our supply chain to trusted suppliers who meet our standards.

QUALITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT
We are dedicated to providing top-quality products and services, all whilst having a strong commitment to environmental responsibility. Our comprehensive Quality and Environmental Management process conforms to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, ensuring effective management of projects. We are also proud to have various industry leading accreditations, including Constructionline Gold, CHAS, SSIP, and Acclaim. Regular internal and external verification drives continuous improvement, benefiting clients, our reputation in the construction sector, and the wider community. We are committed to delivering outstanding services that meet high-quality and environmental standards, while minimising our environmental impact.

ACCREDITATIONS
SAFE MINDS, SAFE SITES: A MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKERS.
At Hayward Gold, we place the utmost importance on the well-being of our workforce. While ensuring physical safety remains paramount, we recognise the equal significance of addressing the mental health of our employees. Regrettably, mental health concerns often carry a stigma within the construction industry, hindering workers from seeking the necessary support. Given the industry's alarming statistics, including a male suicide rate three times the national average, with 26% of workers experiencing suicidal thoughts and over a third facing mental health challenges in the past year, we have made it our central mission to improve this situation, which is why we have partnered with specialist counsellors to ensure we can bring about a positive change. This commitment is ingrained in our health and safety policy and permeates throughout the entire company.
