We were honoured to be appointed as the key contractor for the full Design and Build of the new amenities building and terminal offices at DP World London Gateway; an ambitious project that combined predominantly new-build construction with carefully integrated refurbishment works.

The project involved the creation of a purpose built structure designed to serve as a central hub for port operations. Alongside the new-build element, our scope also included the refurbishment of selected existing areas and the seamless extension of the facility, requiring close coordination with existing infrastructure and operational constraints.

The CAT A fit-out included a full internal demolition within the refurbishment zones, followed by the construction of new internal partitions, ceilings, glazed sections, flooring, IPS panelling, bespoke joinery and kitchens, and high quality wall finishes. This was paired with the full installation of new building services, including power, data, lighting, HVAC, and plumbing, all delivered to a high performance standard.

Given the building’s strategic role within the port’s overall infrastructure, the programme was tightly controlled and executed to exacting construction and quality specifications. The successful delivery of this scheme plays a vital role in supporting DP World's operational capabilities and long term growth at London Gateway.
