We were proud to be appointed as the key contractor for the full Design and Build delivery of building services upgrades to the workshop facilities at DP World London Gateway. This highly technical project involved installations to extensions, as well as the complete removal and replacement of the existing high-bay workshop lighting, along with the installation of new power distribution, compressed air systems, and fluid delivery networks; essential to the ongoing operations of this 24 hour, high demand logistics hub.

Working within a fully operational, live environment, our team managed complex logistical and safety challenges. Coordination with site users and the public was critical, requiring constant communication and adaptation to evolving operational needs. The integration of new systems with existing infrastructure was carried out with precision and minimal disruption, thanks to detailed planning and phased implementation strategies.

The project achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, underlining our commitment to sustainable, high performance construction. Our approach not only safeguarded the uninterrupted functionality of the workshop, but enhanced it, ensuring improved safety, energy efficiency, and service delivery for years to come.
